Who we are

Our website address is:

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We minimize as much data collection as possible, but some is necessary to run our site and business, effectively, and in working with 3rd party service providers and entities. I value your privacy, as well as my own, and I appreciate you and am honored that you are at my site reading.  I’m not going to enact overreaching practices that I feel would betray your trust in use of this site.

When visitors leave comments on the site, data is collected- such as the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in context with your comment.

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract location data from images on the website.
